Fandoghi pistachios also known as Ohadi pistachios in Persian پسته فندقی or پسته اوحدی , also known as “Round pistachios” or Hazelnut pistachios, are a widely cultivated variety primarily grown in Iran. They are a popular choice for both domestic consumption and international trade due to their small, round shape, rich flavor, high yield, and affordability. The Fandoghi pistachio is the most common variety cultivated in Iran, accounting for approximately 50% of the country’s pistachio production in recent years
